Report from the Saint (47-3)
This weekly report is cosponsored by Scott, PaulaG and Sarah, who caught the bubble on the Saint aT 12 noon and reported a max of 12 inches.
When we left D at 6 pm the gauge was right on 9"
The gauge is having some spasms apparently. We were going to give it a rock bonk on the way home- but it is RAINING too hard.
Our gauge at home already shows 1/2 inch and it is still pouring.
This is a cold rain, which may lower the water temp from it's high of 70 degrees.
Our ground was saturated from the rain last night so it is all going in the river. Di and I are hoping for a run from our house to D tomorrow.
It is supposed to rain tomorrow too.
It has made my travelling out of state decision much easier.

Water temp
Taken with his Walmart temperature guage. Sticks it in the water for 5 minutes.

My water temp gauge
comes from Kazahkistan (Greatest country in the world, all rest run by little girls). It is made from high grade recycled plastic that never carried potassium. It has a compass, but it points east (away from mangy Uzbeks). And the temp gauge is accurate to within 10 degrees. It also has a loud whistle (but Turkmenistan makes cleaner whistles).
I think it costs $1.39
