MWA Calendar
Right now we have about 20 people bringing boats to let people borrow them. Mostly rec kayaks, a few canoes, and I think a few white water boats.
Cathy from the St. Louis Canoe/ Kayak group is hoping to come as well, I think. She mentioned it at the Y practice.
John Wall has offered to teach a Wilderness First Aid course
The Missouri Whitewater Association holds an annual spring two-day clinic for kayak, open and decked canoes for people already possessing basic river paddling skills. The clinic is designed to introduce whitewater techniques on Class II whitewater. This is an ACA-sanctioned event.
Date: April 24 and 25, 2010
Where: St. Francis River, Fredericktown, MO
Time: Clinic begins at 8:00 a.m., Saturday and continues through the evening with a catered dinner. Clinic concludes on Sunday afternoon.
Cost: MWA Member ($75)
Non-member ($90)
